Hôtel des Bains

This place is truly a hidden gem in Paris. For the price you get an amazing location, very nice rooms, and friendly staff. We stayed in a family room which was two adjoining rooms with a nice bathroom as well. Our daughter was able to sleep in one room and my husband and I in another. The room was very clear, well-appointed and the beds were soft and comfortable. Hotel is walking distance to Metro (2 stops), many nice eateries, and sights. I thought the staff was amazingly helpful and kind. It definitely helps to speak French as they do mostly speak French, so a little goes a long way. The nice lady who helped us at breakfast was so kind to our daughter and went out of her way to fill up her milk cup in the morning and work around her nap schedule with cleaning. Promote! Breakfast was a bargain at 12 Euros, you got coffee or tea, juice, FRESH pastries delivered every morning from a nearby bakery, bread, cheese, jam, eggs, cold cuts, and fresh fruit. It was super tasty and served in a clean, home-like atmosphere. We loved it and a great value! There was AC is our room which worked great so we could get a good night's sleep, but not all rooms have AC so please enquire. Walking distance to Montparnasse and Jardins de Luxembourg. I've never stayed in this area of Paris before, but was quite delighted.
