Wyndham Grand Levent Istanbul Hotel & Conference Center

This was a great start for our first visit to this magnificent and fascinating country. After almost 15 hours of travel time, it was very rewarding to stay in this beautiful hotel. I thought I was in the wrong place when the chauffeur dropped me of early evening. The lobby was not only grand but the front desk staff were so hospitable and it seemed they knew it was a long flight. The suite was elegantly comfortable. You wake up over looking a beautiful mosque and plaza and the business skyline. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. Bathroom amnities were good and fixtures were modern. They provide you with two bottled water daily and the bar/ref was checked and restocked daily. The hotel has a restaurant in one of the floors for a breakfast buffet and a small cafe in the lobby which serves European style cakes and pastries. The breakfast buffet has a big spread with plenty of choices. There is a staff member who seemed to be like a dedicated barista for special coffee while the regular staff, offers regular fresh coffee or tea. Front desk staff are very helpful and speaks good English. I would like to compliment Anil of the front desk who helped and gave me pointers and recommendations as a first time visitor.He even facilitated me being a member of the hotel chain's frequent guest program. The hotel is also connected to a mall and walkable to other shopping establishments.
