The Mora Zanzibar

Lovely 10 days spent at the mora as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. We had such an amazing time we got back home and have rebooked for next year! We stayed in room 1017 and 1018 superior junior suite interconnecting rooms very close to reception. This worked out well for us as we were away from any potential noise late into the night as we had 2 young children. The rooms are very spacious pictures do not do it justice! The resort is big and spread over 3 levels. There is a lot of walking so those with mobility issues may struggle. Buggies available, very helpful and quick when requested. The a la carte restaurants all bookable via the app. We had a few issues with this but reception quickly resolved the matter. Main buffet restaurant Horizon had a big spread for all meals. Themed nights throughout the week, we really enjoyed chef special and swahili night. The food was amazing we enjoyed a lot of seafood and my children always had something that they prefer such a pizza pastas etc. pools are all close together so great if you've got children of different ages, sun loungers are a universal problem, we didn't struggle so much but it does get busy. Overall we absolutely fell in love with the island and this hotel, we have travelled to some beautiful destinations but zanzibar has won our hearts!
